Light 'n' Fast brings you tools to make your outdoor adventures lighter and faster (and generally more fun), whether it be an ultra-light attempt on the AT or a single push assault on your new project alpine route.
Our Pack Weight Optimizer determines the optimal replacement pieces of gear that will lighten your pack the most for any budget. For example if you have $100 to spend, the Pack Weight Optimizer might find that replacing your old helmet might reduce your pack weight more than replacing your carabiners. Of course if you do not like the items chosen by the Pack Weight Optimizer, you can remove them from the optimization process.
Our Rack Buddie is a visualization tool showing the range of your rack. All information is shown clearly on one page, making it easy to see which rock protection could be left behind. Furthermore, you can compare rock pro currently being sold with your rock pro that is not sold anymore.
Members of Light'n'Fast can save up to 5 packs, each pack possibly containing a different rack. This allows quick and easy modifications to your pack contents for different conditions. For example, you can have a summer climbing pack or a winter climbing pack.
Below are two packs carrying similar items on a 2-day climb of Mt Stuart's West Ridge, but the one on the left weighs a nimble 25lbs while the one on the right weighs a sluggish 35lbs.
